[Steinhart Nav B-Uhr Dual Time Titanium] Rare bargain
I've always had a thing for GMT watches and they are useful in my line of work. I've owned many medium-tier GMTs and this Steinhart is my latest and, maybe, the last.
There are many Titanium watches, many B-Uhren, many automatic, many GMTs, many Swiss made, but none combines all of them, especially at this price point. It's not particularly cheap, but its pricing is, with one word, honest.
Steinhart takes a lot of flak for "copying" Rolex in some of its models. This could be considered true to a degree, but here you can see how original they can be. They took the original B-Uhr design, added the GMT hand, dial and the date and created a unique watch, rivaled by some models from Laco and, even, IWC which cost at least the double.
Cons? If I had to name something, I would say its dimensions. I prefer big watches and it's marginally OK on my 6.75" wrist, although some may find it big. The 44mm of diameter is big, but what's bigger is its 53mm lug length. On the other hand, this allows the easy installation of thicker straps.
There are very few options for someone who wants a B-Uhr with some extra features like GMT, titanium, date and open case back. Steinhart does it all at a decent price.
