The missionary that was killed by the natives

I’m sure most of us remember that guy that went to the island (the one that’s forbidden to visit) to share the gospel and was killed by bows and arrows, or spears, I’m not sure. I’m curious as to how the Christians feel about his mission to go there. The tribe has responded violently in the past to people attempting to visit, and they are considered one of the last “untouched” tribes in the world, and have made it clear they don’t want contact with the outside world. My first concern would be that they wouldn’t have the immunity to disease that others have, so it would appear reckless to seek them out and potentially kill the tribe by making contact. How do you guys and girls feel about his trying to reach them to share the gospel?
