Going from 17" to stock 13"

I have a first gen 1987 CRX DX automatic and I was wondering what are the main noticeable differences that I should expect when I change from 17s to stock 13s? The guy before me was a cheap ricer, adding these ridiculous sized wheels (205/40), stripping out the rear carpet, adding a really shitty speaker over the "personal trunk " behind the seats, and neglected to mention that it had a blown head gasket among MANY other things. It only has 156,000 miles on it and that's the main reason I kept it. I've fixed it up a lot now, and it's now my daily driver and so I'd really like it to ride better i.e. not having the body beat to hell and back by any bump in the road and also to not struggle so much at around town driving. My understanding is that the increased tire diameter along with the additional weight of each tire requires more torque to turn than say a smaller lighter wheel. And since I have a little ~70 hp carburated engine, this is very counter productive.

Anyways

So back to the topic at hand: pros and cons of changing from my current 17s to stock 13s. What say you?
