Wheels, tires, oil, gas. It doesn’t take much to get these things running lol

It needs a ignition coil, fuel jets and a couple loose bolts tightened. I got the wheels on and swapped out the bars

You might as well get one of those hammer performance 1275s in there while you're at it.

I bought it as is for $1500 right before I wrecked my 05 softail deuce so it’s going to be my daily rider for now. The motor is brand new so I just need to assemble the tires, fuel tank and a few other minor things. Tonight I replaced swapped out the handle bars and relocated the speedometer

I got a new tank and fuel pump I just need to install the proper fuel injectors and fuel rail bracket I think I have the right one I got off a buddy since Harley has them on back order until next year. I got a 21” spoke off a dyna I’m struggling to mount since I can’t find the right size spacers and it’s fitting too right with the ones that came with the front axle

I had the same problem.

Mine is a 99 that came with spoked wheels, seller had cast wheels from a 2003.

Go to McMaster.com and look at things like this https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/97022a547

I got 2 different thicknesses to play with.

The trick is to mount the wheel with NO spacers but with the disc in the caliper (cuz thats where you want it). Then use a shim gauge to see how much you need on each side. Hopefully a combo of the spacers you have and some shims that you buy will give you the right fit. It took some playing but I got it dead on. Just remember to lube you axle (hehehe) because you will be taking in/out a few times.

GOOD LUCK - PM me if you have any questions

Wow my first award thanks guys! I’ve been asked a few questions about the bike so here’s her story. It’s a 2012 iron 883 idk exact mileage but it’s less than 2k. The frame is new and the motor came off a different sportster and he was building it himself but stopped half way and offered it to me for $1500 so I decided to finish the job! I mounted some cheap tubeless spoke wheels, swapped the bars and put on a ignition, coil,Speedo relocation bracket, fuel tank/ pump, fuel jets, brake system and new primary covered . At this point I’m only missing the fuel injector rail, ignition coil, horn and mirrors. I’ll be sure to post a progress pic or possibly a finished bike soon since I’m almost done
