Is 50 LY jump range enough to safely go to the edge of the galaxy?

I made it to Sagittarius A* and spent a few weeks just jumping around G stars in the galactic center, and scanning planets. I feel it's time to take the next step in my exploration journey, and head out to the edge. Like Beagle Point or Erikson's Star.

What I'm wondering, is 50 LY jump range enough to get me there safely, and explore without stranding myself? I know stars are very sparse out there. Not like the dense center, where I'm at right now.
