Mmmm, appetising

I first read it as "flavoured chicken things".

They don't even know what it is

It’s Britain they don’t know how to season their food so it’ll probably be shit

I thought "where in the fuck does that pass as chicken?" A land where food is for sustenance, not flavor or presentation. Britain.

Statesman here. I really want to try that sunflower spread but Christ is the whole p vs dollar thing confusing.

A compound in sunflower seeds blocks an enzyme that causes blood vessels to constrict. As a result, it may help your blood vessels relax, lowering your blood pressure. The magnesium in sunflower seeds helps reduce blood pressure levels as well.

Does this benefit come from then even after baked or more. A raw process? Love sunflower seeds. I’ve always felt the amount of salt they apply likely counteracts the healthy ness.

How is it confusing? It's just a conversion

69p is probably about a dollar atm if I'm correct. I hope I am as I'm trying to plan a trip to the states and will be thoroughly disappointed of I'm wrong😂

lit_up_spyro•

Soo like. Is 69p comparable to .69?? The price tag of the chicken shows pound symbol then 2.19 opposed to like 0.69

2
bee-fe•

Yea exactly so 69p is like 69% of a £. So £2.19 is basically 219p

2
lit_up_spyro•

Ahhhh. Makes much more sense now!! Thank u!!

I’ve never been to the UK, but I hear the swan is delicious.

Damn that's a lotta plastic

fjall_persika•

I’m also mildly interested in the price. $2.19 for that?!

rustystaticOP•

Even worse than that, its in £(GBP). So roughly $2.98

Food, including chicken, is much more expensive in the UK relative to the USA. In part due to welfare and food safety standards, and in part due to cost of land.

This is disgusting!

This has probably been sitting on the shelf for 2 months because the garbage truck has no gas and no driver.
