What makes a great Musketeer?
Yes, I'm blatantly stealing this idea from Frisky_Britches' post.
What kind of gameplay is important for making a Musky not only good, but great? (Besides dapper outfit of course).
Hell, feel free to share thoughts on other classes too! I wouldn't mind hearing what makes a Shaman great too! We noobs appreciate it!

Just like the Bard, Musketeer gameplay is largely effected by choosing the right orbs. Most situations you will likely be using shield, renew, cure wounds, and 1 other (gravity orb for break it shards and minotaur boss, weakness orb when nothing else is important, cleansing orb for enemies that poison your team like the volur stafrages).
Second and likely most important for every class is understanding the mechanics of a fight and positioning requirements for your role such as following the tank against boss 1 in ancient temple or at least maintaining line of sight, or being the musky buffer between tank and dps during minotaur.
After that it's all practice and communication, does your tank have a heal and yours is down? tell him. does he not have a heal? Maybe pop your big one. If he's full to half health, keep the renew type heals rolling and don't be afraid to bust your shield orb on cooldown if it's going to absorb a good hit.
Charged heals can bounce off enemies and heal multiple players within range and so can charged attack orbs. You can also bounce those heals off your turret. Keep this in mind when doing dungeons and raids so you can maintain heals on everyone around you and keep tiles proccing and heals for those oh shit moments when someone takes damage who shot a reflect target or ate a bolt.
Charge your turret if you can, don't do it if you're about to take damage or you are low because you'll kill yourself but the heals are much better after you charge it up.
There's a lot more about musketeer tanking that I don't know and wouldn't feel right trying to explain since I'm a mediocre musky tank at best. All I've heard is open with a self shield to absorb that initial smack from the enemies while aggro is being established by your dps on priority targets.
Thanks! This is really useful information.
Are there any good dungeon guides to know the spots in dungeons to use cleansing orb?
