Smaller funds are covering and bigger funds are increasing their positions!

This is the reason for erratic upward price action and then the downtrend folks!

I was checking Market Beat and Fintel on short position data that are available. From what I saw it seems there are significantly fewer funds shorting AMC than 3 months ago!! So how does that work if smaller funds are covered and the price is stagnant?

Well, check this! BOA increased their short position by 671% as of October! 683 Capital by 653% and some other funds by tens of thousands of % that were indeed confirmed already shorting prior to this last data drop!

My thesis is that as smaller funds are covering we see small spikes in AMC which are indeed shorts covering and upward price action that is immediately stomped down by big boys like BOA and Citadel Advisors!!
