Beyond ecstatic!

As the title says I am over the moon excited. I live in a really saturated area with two PA schools within 45 minutes of each other so finding a job especially as a new grad has been stressful and arduous. I made a post on here a while back asking for any advice on making myself more presentable on applications and just wanted to say thank you to everyone that replied!!! I found my job and in the ER which was my desired field!!! I will now be working full time at one hospital but I will be cross-credentialed at another hospital within an hour of my house so I can pick up shifts there if I want (eventually after I’m more comfortable and confident in my role).

Side note to all the new grads: it’s hard out there for sure! Many of my friends just got jobs and we’ve been finished since April. Keep applying to everything that comes up, be willing to move or have long commutes, and know that the opportunity will come along! Best of luck to new grads and just anyone else switching jobs at this time!
