The German government knew that if this ad got out, there would be such an overwhelming urge for pickled turtle dick that it would lead to the extinction of all turtles in Europe, and many companies would be destroyed by the inevitable riots when cock-hungry Germans realized their products were nothing but shrivelled cucumbers.

I'm from the Sauerland and never heard of these pickles outside of this "commercial", nor could I find anything online. So yes, it is almost certainly fake. My guess would be some German comedy show.

I'll never look at pickles the same way...
