Blizzard should remove all imagery and references to alcohol.
Im going to be genuine but vague. I have suffered severe and long term trauma as a result of alcohol abuse affecting my life. It was beyond my control and I was too young to do anything about it. As a result I have to deal with a very deep-seeded resentment when I am around the substance or those under it's effects. I live in a place where it is a vital social lubricant and deeply entwined with the culture, making me adverse to social gatherings, and when I do attend, I am near constantly in a negative place. I struggle to be me and I just want to get away from it.
Alcohol abuse is a contributing factor to a huge amount of physical and emotional abuse, injury and even death. The pervasiveness of the substance in global culture no doubt means that ABK employ people who have been one of the victims of drinking and drunkenness. Is it ok to subject them to constant reminders of their trauma in their workplace, or have to design, implement, test or support such content?
There is a clear and genuine negative to alcohol. If Blizzard wishes to move forward in a direction that refuses to glorify or feature potentially harmful content, even that which could be argued to be acceptable and largely harmless, then they should see that the consumption of alcohol, beer, ale, wine etc. should be scrubbed from the game.
The entire Brewmaster class can be seen as a glorification of alcoholism, and that it is healthy or acceptable to be a functional alcoholic. This as well as the positive spin on drunken culture of the Dwarves. These will need to be thoroughly revisited and revised with immediate effect. It should be treated with the severity, urgency and seriousness as other sources of trauma and abuse that Blizzard wishes to tackle.
As I said before, I've been harmed by alchohol and that hampers me now. I honestly can imagine this being the case for others in the game industry. Being unable to participate in drinking outside of work can genuinely restrict someone's ability to build the connections that help one advance in the industry. If the attitude of Blizzard is what it is now, and they are approaching content as they seem to be now, then it would be high-hypocrisy for them to ignore the trauma of those who suffered from alcohol. Including in office/social culture.

They also should remove spiders from the game, I have arachnophobia
They're removing women because men can't stop themselves from being sexist, I say they should remove men too because they might cause female players to feel victimised. Both men and women should be removed from the game... Oh wait...
World of Fruitcraft. Pre-order now.
Quazi made a good video for World of Fruitcraft recent, I highly recommend. I laughed my ass off.
Also, A lot of people are afraid of the dark. So the next step is to remove night time completely. And the black ink that turns everything darker.
While we're at it, some people are very afraid of needles, pointy things. So all weapons that pierce should be removed. Also some faint at the sight of blood, so basically no more wounds or blood spilling.
And really? WAR? Are they mocking the people who died in wars with that name? Remove any conflict from the game immediately.
Now, much better. We're safe.
Uhhhh… as a Final Fantasy 14 player this is a little on the nose.
Honestly, playing through Shadowbringers had me thinking >!"This is what devs must feel when they implement night mode on anything, it's glorious"!<
FF14 is made for normal people.
wow however, at the rate they're removing and filtering stuff, we're getting close to zero triggering content in game for wow.
I guess their plan is to reduce the age restriction, and you need to take certain extra steps to make the game toddler friendly.
Run from the light!
Authors of our fates!
Youre on the right track. Have they spared no thought for former soldiers suffering from PTSD? But I believe all physical conflict should be removed, it could trigger someone from an abusive home or relationship to relive their traumas. It's shocking.
There's also clear cultural appropriation going on with most of the horde races. Get rid of them immediately.
And where's the inclusivity? How can they pretend to be in touch with society when there's no gender options besides male and female. I resent that. They should also add in a new generation of heroes to encompass different sexual identities, religions, and colors. Why is everyone in stormwind white anyway? Incredibly racist. I am offended.
Once I even saw a duck. Can you imagine what that does to someone with anatidaephobia? Why is Blizzard intentionally forcing me to relive my traumatic past? Disgusting.
I'm afraid of heights, so they should remove any kind of elevation in the game. I want nothing but flat.
How could you be so bigoted?
They need to remove all the oceans too cause I'm afraid of the sea
