What is the benefit to clearing out Nests on Survival difficulty?

In normal difficulties where you are able to Fast Travel, it is beneficial to burn the Infestation Nests; but what is the point on Survival? Genuinely curious since I need reason and purpose to clear them out besides sheer completion-ism haha.

Edit: also residue-bolts aren't motivating either, I never use them.
