Can't even see cash amounts on the main account screens, need to click "See details".

No indicators on charts.

Any order more complex than Limit or Market requires IQ Edge.

Can't see amount of shares held and current price at the same time in Holdings window.

Cash amount in account does not update without reloading page.

I asked support why I couldn't trade in account I was authorized for in the new app and web browser. The response was "this feature is not yet built out yet no ETA on when it will be". Apparently it's it's 'feature' now to trade in quesTRADE.. bit lame.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. You can access the original platform using this link: https://my.questrade.com/trading.

Thanks I hope you don't remove that version anytime soon. I realize you're aiming the new one at the mobile/Robinhood crowd but I think it's too simplistic at the moment.

Have you guys gotten any positive feedback on these new changes? It's hard to imagine anyone liking it, so I'm curious why this change was approved unless Questrade is trying to pivot to much less sophisticated investors similar to Wealthsimple.

Great Question, I am curious to hear the responce. Not a cynic just realistic. Good critique is usally removed or deleted for the safety of the community. If the moderators were concerned with the community. They should address questions and posts providing reasons and why they were changed.

Exactly. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, who knows, maybe they did market research on their target demographic and found that new investors prefer a simple, mobile-friendly platform like Wealthsimple. If that's the case, fine, it's their business and they can run it how they choose, but I would prefer if they were transparent about it so that existing users can re-assess and explore other alternatives.

If they actually took all the feedback from all users over the past few years. since I jointed it has more than trippled and you do no see one implemenation on any platform it feels like developors are not traders maybe not even investers as 3 years would be enough to actually see those impovements or there would be less negative and outrage in this last update. IE Edge for ie they do not let you know what they have done and you end up finding new glitches.

Don't even think of removing original platform. New platform is useless and no where close to the original one.

If 55 percent of the users prefer to use the original platform, then all their efforts for a better user experience is a fail. Instead if they chose to enhance the original platform by adding front end features from all the feedback that was submitted would seem an obvious plan.

why not send out a general email to all clients, instead of dealing with issues one by one. It seem to be the most benfiecial way to advise and shorten the post.

You are responding to 14k. but natually you have a lot more if you put this out in an email.

There would be less posts and less calls going to clients services and tech support.

I know how much you appriciate good feedback John. That would mean being proactive rather than reactive.
