when i lived in a house with a bunch of my mates, they all went home to their parents and left me in the house by myself. i’m like sweet, gonna be a good weekend.
i go on tinder, get someone over. then once that’s done i go to sleep. i wake up at like 5am, she’s still sleeping, and there’s just someone walking up and down my stairs scratching their fingers against the wall.
long story short, there was no one in the house, doors locked, windows closed. just that noise.
i do have a paranoia disorder tho, so it was probably that
the reason i mention the girl is because i don’t usually hear shit like that when there’s other people around, i’ll hear it on my own and just play it off, but i wasn’t on my own

i dont believe in ghosts and frankly the idea is stupid and doesnt hold water
i know this isnt what people want to hear but i have two good reasons for thinking ghosts arent real
Ghosts most definitely arent real because theyre by far the easiest cryptid to prove real because they stay in one spot and we got a billion shows devoted to finding them and aint shit turned up yet.
aliens got flying saucers, so they bounce before you can get some good footage. Okay fine. lets ignore the fact that everyone in they mama got a phone in they hand with a HD camera they use to record they dog farting but for some reason we aint got no good ufo footage.
okay fine. know what, i actually saw some UFOs in the sky and i tried to record it and the footage didnt turn out right cuz it was dark. FINE
big foot, avoids people, and he'll just run away before you get close. okay fine. FINE.
Haunted houses dont move tho, so whats stopping us from getting proof? not a damn thing, their is no proof to get.
my death
The only correct answers here are delusions and mental illness because ghosts aren't real.
