Why do the playstation and epic games integration require a token? that seems sketchy
I think the website is very cool, however i do not understand why they do not have an authorize page like xbox or a way to just input your username.

It is, I 100% agree and I hate the fact that I have to do it like that.
However, unlike Xbox Live and Steam, PSN/Epic/Activision don't offer ways for 3rd party platforms to authenticate users through Oauth.
For PlayStation, this is the only way I can verify authenticity of an account. Other means would be to have the User put something in the About me page which I can later verify. We used to do it like that but some users didn't like that.
I can understand if you're not happy to do that. I'd be more than happy to manually associate a PlayStation account to your profile if you want. Let me know and I can send you a token you can put in your About Me profile.
Epic is the same. Unfortunately, Epic does not offer 'public' profiles that I can query, so the only way to get your library in games.directory would be to follow the instructions. I'm still researching their APIs to find better ways.
And to answer the last question, couple of years ago we had username verification but that turned out to be error prone. Users would misspell their username or put someone else's.

Yup. That token is only available for 3 minutes. On each refresh it changes.
It is very important that when you copy the code on games.directory you don't refresh the page or anything like that, otherwise the code you provide games.directory will be null.
