Erinacine A Extract?
Would your team ever consider offering a concentrated Erinacine A extract from Lion’s Mane? I always have the most distinctly noticeable positive cognitive effects from alcohol extracts of Lion’s Mane (the mycelium in particular), but these benefits are always simultaneously outweighed by the consistently strong negative effects I experience from taking LM extracts (i.e. dysphoria, lethargy, irritability, anxiety, etc.), which I believe are caused mostly by the kappa opioid receptor agonists present in LM such as Erinacine E. As Erinacine A in particular is gaining interest in LM research due to its potent pro-NGF/pro-myelination/anti-inflammatory/anti-depressant effects, I was thinking a concentrated extract of this only (or possibly along with some other specific erinacines and hericenones that don’t cause dysphoria or lethargy like Erinacine E) would be both very useful and innovative by promoting the robust cognitive benefits of LM while minimizing hindering side-effects.
