I can do a very clean standing still one but when I try to do a rolling one I get the right motion, but I only land on it with my front foot and not my back foot, no matter how hard I try. It might be helpful to post a video if you are able, so that we can see exactly what’s happening - there’s different ways you might end up with only one foot on the board, and those will have different solutions.

That being said, here’s a few thoughts, don’t know if they will apply to your situation:

Make sure your shoulders are set parallel over your board, and that your weight and balance are there as well. If you’re “sitting back” towards your heels, you won’t end up over your board. When you do a pop shove it your board is either gonna stay directly under you or maybe go a bit in front of you, and you’ll need to keep your center of mass in that position over the board in order to land back on it.

Also, make sure you’re committing, as silly as that might sound. A lot of tricks don’t get landed because we are nervous to commit both feet on the board, whether we consciously feel that way or not.

In general, people don’t always lift their back foot as high as they need to for tricks - might just need to lift it higher and/or jump more so that the board has time to rotate all the way around to the point that you can get your back foot on it.

Oh it's not a pop shuv btw. My back foot always lands in front of the back side of the board. Thanks for typing out such and detailed response

Try to watch your feet while doing it too, if you can see it you can see where in the trick you are going wrong.
