Dreamt I made over $500,000
It was surreal even in my dream, a shitcoin I bought months before as a joke was now worth over $500,000.
Waking up to social media blowing up about the shitcoin I bought being pumped so high and my friends texting me asking if I still held it.
It's crazy to login into your account and see the fiat value of your shitcoin you spent a mere $100 went up 5000x. So obviously, the first thing I did is solidify the gain by selling.
And after a few days of waiting for the withdrawal, I had $500,000 of fiat in my regular bank account. However, this sub taught me many things so the first thing I did was see a tax accountant. The country I live in does tax crypto gains so we set aside some of the money for tax purposes.
After that, it's about being smart not just burning it through and buying a lambo. After taxes, I had a sizeable chunk leftover and staked most of it into high APY as a liquidity provider. Many providers still offer better ROI than banks so why wouldn't you?
I was left with $40K to do whatever I want. There's hardly any covid in my country. So I booked a flight to the "Las Vegas-equivalent" in my country, stayed a couple of nights at a penthouse, rented a Ferrari, got high end escorts to accompany me whenever I went, ate at 5 star restaurants, railed them in the hotel and did cocaine off their fake titties. Basically burning through the $40K very very quickly.
I got off that cheesy rich person fantasy out of my system and honestly, I'm happy I did. It was a shame though because when I woke up and realised everything was just a dream after checking my 3 figure portfolio, I broke down crying.
