Congrats mate should be heaps of fun in the bush.
Thanks mate, I had fun this evening… hopefully didn’t dazzle the alpaca and goats too much.
I have it in E21A 3500K as well. By far one of my favorite CCT and the CRI is jaw-dropping. My other is the 219b in 2700K, my constant companion on gloomy, dreary, rainy days. Both CCTs are very easy on the eyes at night. I can no longer stand 5000K, which is too harsh to my eyes for extended use. 4500K is my max I think. If Hank ever upgrades to better drivers, I'll definitely try the 4500K varieties, assuming they'll still be made then.
I took some photos with my current lights (4 lights in 4 years, I’m doing okay so far…)
Lights tested:
So, how do you like it?
Yup! :)
Do you know what these color temps are in K?
This is my first Hank light. I decided to upgrade my Fw3a since it’s starting to act sporadic, probably been dropped too many times. The final motivation though was learning about Andúril 2 with automatic lockout.
So $100 (aud) later and nearly 2 weeks (which is really fast considering I live in rural Western Australia), I finally received it and the flashing kit and have successfully flashed Andúril 2, clicked the thing about 10 million times to get the settings I like… and now I’m waiting for it to get dark.
Did it come with Anduril 1?
I believe so. I could be wrong though. I also have the soic clip to reprogram my Fw3a.
I got two D4V2 in the last two weeks in separate orders, one of them was anduril 1 and one was anduril 2. If you want one over the other and don’t want to reflash just email Hank before he ships it.
Were the Anduril 2 versions you received 219b ?
Do you have the latest version that improves the ramping resolution near the low end (slower and smoother ramping)? It was quite a game changer for my E21A.
Nope, but I just found it, I’ll toy around with it after work. :D
