CONSTANT ENCODER OVERLOAD

question, i have a pretty decent pc, 3060ti and 3700x cpu, but with obs anytime i slightly turn up my settings so that way recordings actually look good, it immediately says encoder overload even with no games open, i feel like i've looked up all i can on it and have no solutions except for turn everything so low it looks like trash, might be a easy fix im looking over just looking for what my settings should be cuz something has to be wrong i feel like
