I like Bane :(

So i have fallen in love with bane elemental... His mix of artwork, style, gameplay and his amazing voice acting really clicks with me...

Though...

After playing him and seeing how he performs in pubs, I have to ask. Does Bane have any real competative edge, or is he just not up to par with current top tier type heroes. I think he has a lot to bring to a table but it seems that if your team is not coordinated then he doesnt fare very well in a lot of cases because of long CDs, mana, and abilities that require good placement and your allies not to be fully fucking derp.

Some discussion on this matter would be great as I would like to spend a lot more time playing him if it will be advantageous in my competative future
