I made something for you reddit. Enjoy.
Hello Minecraft redditors,
after many, many hours I have finally released my project to the public. It was a long journey and I really hope you enjoy my project as much as I enjoyed making it for you guys and the whole of the community.
I present to you my mod database for Minecraft (and any indie game with mod support).
Xenolith is an easy to use website.
Modders can create mods and add as many files and images as they need. No limits. Modders get full control over their uploaded mods and their corresponding files. They are able to edit, add files or delete them at any time.
Users are able to download, vote and even subscribe to their favorite mods. Thanks to the subscription system, users can keep track of new versions, without needing to scan the forums for each and every post, to see if there is a new version available. (No more mediafire-links, no more hotfile-hassle.)
With this website and the Minecraft community, we can finally offer everyone a nice and clean alternative to download and share mods.
(Bear in mind, that this is an alpha. If you find bugs or encounter any problems please feel free to contact me at support@xenolith.ws or post a comment in this thread)
**Thank you, reddit! Remember to share **
I ask for nothing, all I want is that we can finally actually find mods and not search endlessly for "that one texture pack" over and over again.
UPDATE: For old modders and people that want to keep ad.fly. (ಠ_ಠ) You can now add external links to a mod, instead of directly uploading to our server. Keep in mind though, that we offer free storage and free unlimited bandwidth. Never the less, users will be informed when you add a new link.
