LibreNMS to Oxidized API issue
I realize this may not be the correct place for this, but someone here may have experience with this issue so why not.
My Libre/Oxidized integration is not working correctly, and I believe it is because LibreNMS is looking for 127.0.0.1:8888/node/fetch/IPADDRESS whereas Oxidized is outputting 127.0.0.1:8888/node/fetch/DEVICENAME
I could change all the device names to IP address in Oxidized, but I would really rather not. Does anyone know any config options dealing with this in either program or have any other way of making this work? Thank you in advance.

The name in LibreNMS should match the name in Oxidized.
I realize that, but I am just wondering if there is a way to make it work.
We don't have DNS set up for most devices so they were added to LibreNMS by IP address. It would be nice if that didn't force my Oxidized install to not be able to use any names.
You may need to edit the device in LibreNMS and set the "overwrite IP" to the actual IP, then the hostname to the same name in Oxidized.
I was hopeful this would work, but I can't get it to. I can add the overwrite IP just fine, but whenever I try to save a new hostname it just reverts back to the original when I click save :(
Are the devices polling snmp? It has to complete the initial discovery process before it will let you change the name. Once discovery completes (usually within one or two polling cycles after the device is added to LibreNMS) then you can change the name. Make sure you aren't hitting enter after the name change. Click edit icon, type the name, scroll to bottom and hit save.
If you're doing that and it's still reverting then the name is present elsewhere in LibreNMS. Every device must have a unique hostname in LibreNMS.
