Why we don't have multiple bud light seltzer flavors in Canada? Like the U.S?

Like with many drinks both liquor and soft drinks, it comes down to manufacturing capability.

Spirits, Wine and other higher price liquors are typically imported while the beer you buy in cases is typically brewed domestically.

Budweiser has been brewed in Canada for more than 30 years by Labatt as opposed to being imported so a lot of flavors and products are either limited run or don't get imported into Canada.

The same is true for Soft Drinks.

Coca Cola and Pepsi have bottling plants throughout Canada but both companies only have a single facility (in Ontario) that makes the concentrate. Concentrate (the syrup) is shipped to bottling plants, mixed with carbonated water and bottled. This is done because it's considerably better logistically as you don't have to ship large quantities of pre-mixed cola in bottles all over the country from Toronto(?)

By comparison there's a syrup facility the size of the one in Toronto(?) just to supply New York state... there's just that much more demand for Cola in the US.

So specialty products like Cherry Coke aren't always available in Canada because our facility doesn't always have the capacity to make it. Where-as in the US they can make the concentrate at any one of the facilities and ship it around to bottling plants around the country.

As for importing it, it just doesn't make logistical sense to bottle it in the US, label it with special Canadian labels (with French etc) and ship it over the border.

...those are multiple flavors.

Canada is a different market, they'll see how things sell before introducing/discontinuing different flavors.

2

Yeah but i really want to try tie dye and all the other flavors they show on tv ahah
