[PC][2004-2010s] F2P multiplayer game with transforming weapon
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Free to play multiplayer. I'm not sure if it's RPG or action.
Estimated year of release: 2004-2010s-ish. Around the time with Flyff and Luna online.
Graphics/art style: Anime cartoon-ish
Notable gameplay mechanics: The most notable thing I remember about this game is flying companion robot(?) pets following me that can turn into weapon. I vaguely remember I saw many type of weapon companions with other players in hub zone.

Not sure this is it, but is it S4League? There are some weapons that appear as orbs surrounding you until places, usually becoming turrets. There were a lot of pets in general though. Some affected the game mode Chaser, where the pet you had effected the Reaper that would come out if you were chaser.
I don't think so. It was a really long time ago. My memory of that game is very vague, but it just popped into my head yesterday. I think it was a pet collecting kinda game, but I'm not really sure.
