She did actually spank or switch three reigning kings and four queens, though the facts of these are hidden in rumor.

She had a reputation for taking direct action, even to the point of violence, slapping faces, boxing ears, and more (especially when faced with what she considered stupidity), with high as often as low, or rather, more often. She also had a reputation for not caring whether she dented somebody's pride, if she thought it necessary.

Always wondered what "not pretty but handsome" mean when referred to a woman. Is this an euphemism for plain looking, but make-up helped overcome the looks?

That's not just a Jordanism. It means a woman who has some more masculine attractiveness. Usually a strong jaw and square face.

Cobie Smulders is an example of a handsome 10/10. Lots of women have been called handsome. Lena Headey, Sigourney Weaver. Those are all handsome women, without even going to obvious candidates like Gina Carano.

hahaha, I never thought of it that way. Except few, most Aes Sedai in books were described as being attractive. I always wondered if the usage of One Power improved outer appearance.

If that's the case, how unattractive does a person had to be to be considered a 6 after 300 years...

Burn my soul, use the > symbol at the beginning of each sentence/paragrapg, and at the beginning of each blank line between paragraphs.

If you want italics, use the * symbol with no spaces between the > and the first word, and no spaces after the last word.

In old Reddit, there is a "formatting help" at the bottom right hand corner of the text box that you can click on. I am too old for new reddit, but I believe if you use the same formatting you will get the same result.
