maybe I'm not familiar with this format but it seems to make it harder to read. that aside i think this is a good poem and it reminds me of a introvert struggling with some of the consequences of solitude and a lack of guidance, as fear replaces meaning meaning can be found through confrontation and options with space is uncertainty and speech from someone with no direction always comes out jumbled. that's what I got form it, maybe I'm wrong.
The first is about being so personal in artwork that it loses its outside meaning. The rejection of the art by others only increases its beauty to the artist who finds themselves in darkness/isolation/deprivation.
Fear doesn't replace meaning. Meaning is in my hands. I can place it anywhere, but I don't know where to place it. I know it doesn't belong in my hand, but I'm afraid to put it in the wrong place. Everywhere (options) I start to place it I become terrified I'm wrong, keeping it in my hand while things just happen. The options disappear.
I'm trying to say these things clearly, but as evidenced by your interpretation, I can't seem to.

Oh, hi there; didn't see you! You've reached r/OCPoetry. This is a workshop site where you can share, read, and talk about eachother's poetry & etc. To post your own poems, you need to give feedback to 2 other writers. If you aren't trying to share, you're encouraged to give feedback, but aren't required. Try to be nice, questioning, and specific. If you can't do that - eat a cabbage and come back later. Try to give feedback to a writer without any feedback. Lastly, read our feedback guide , other writer's comments, or this author’s feedback links. If you still aren't sure whether your comments are useful ‘feedback’, or you have any other questions, send us a modmail!
