I googled 2 and 4 and still don't know what they are.
They are Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix from The Adventures of Asterix, and Lucky Luke and the Dalton Gang from Lucky Luke. Both are French cartoons, not too well known in the United States, unless you took a French class or had a relative in Europe.
Thanks, that clears it up.
The south park one was a step up in detail from the actual show...
Fantastic.
Had no idea what I was looking at until the South Park on at the bottom.
This made me realize that the female characters in the Simpsons all wear dresses. Interesing.
scary that i can guess almost all of theses..niceeeeeeeee
Whenever I see things like this I feel creator has totally missed point of lego.
With lego you can do this or this. You don't need to imagine lego looking like something. You can make lego look like it.
I think most people have seen various grand lego creations. There is still something to be said about minimalism in art and design.
In order to save people the frustration if they can't figure some of them out:
You're my hero. I was struggling on the second one for minutes. It was terrible.
Having never heard of Lucky Luke I wondered why a sailor was hanging out with progressively taller bees.
*Asterix, Obelix & Idefix
*Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix
Nope, Idéfix is correcter - it's in the original French. Dogmatix is what these people English crazy call him! :)
fair enough! I didn't know that they varied the names between english and french - had seen that asterix and obelix were the same so I assumed they all were, my bad.
I had to go back and look - Idéfix was more hidden than any "when you see it..." black guy! :)
Bert and Ernie is correct.
Now to find out who Lucky Luke and the Daltons are.
It's a French comic and cartoon. I grew up watching it because my uncle came back with a bunch of French stuff when he was stationed in Europe. Lucky Luke is a stereotypical(in the French view) American Cowboy, and the Daltons are a parody caricature of the real Dalton Gang.
You should definitely check it out.
Thanks! I couldn't figure out the second and the forth, apparently it's because I've never heard of them!
I got all of them cept the smurfs, just couldn't see it.
I was really surprised I got lucky luke, i haven't seen that show since... I don't' even know how long.
Screw the show. Read the comics. They are great.
I was actually struggling with the first picture, when I scrolled to picture two I realised they we're cartoon figures.
I had the game for Lucky Luke, it wasn't in English so I had no idea what I was doing. But now I feel good because I was able to name some bricks that looked like him.
never even heard of lucky luke. I assume it's an american thing?
It's French, and more hilarious because of it. It's about the American Wild West, but from a hilariously stereotyped French view of it. The old seventies cartoon I have of Lucky Luke almost verges on being hopelessly racist, the Chinese man is short, has buck-teeth, knows kung-foo and how to use poisons, runs a laundry store and talks in a heavy stereotype accent. The Mexicans all wear big sombreros, belts of bullets and sleep all day, The Native Americans have tee-pees, say 'how' and wear feathers and mistrust all white men. I could go on, but it is a pretty funny little cartoon if you get the chance.
French
Well we bought the game in Holland, but I think it's French.
what on earth is lucky luke and the daltons? #2 took me a while 2. i love the single white dogmatix brick in the middle
Alright, that explains why I couldn't figure out 2 and 4.
