Here's How I See This Subreddit Going

First of all, if you're seeing this for the first time, welcome to /r/bookgiveaways!

I started this subreddit after I did my first giveaway on my blog. I realized pretty quickly that I wanted lots of people to see it, which led to me thinking how great it would be if all the different book giveaways (especially sci-fi and fantasy, since those are what I love) could be found in one place. It would be so much easier to find them and enter them.

I realized later that this posed a downside of doing this for me; the chances of me winning now are lower than they were before. Still, it's worth it to get them all together where everyone can see them.

So, if it has to do with a book giveaway (be that traditional, digital, or whatever) then this is a good place to put it. I'm not certain yet that I want to see kindle self-published books going here because they're free for a couple of days, so I'm asking that you post those in /r/freebies so that they don't clutter up the place but people still can get at them.

Either way, welcome! If you're a book blogger with a giveaway, sign in to Reddit and link to it. If you're just someone who wants to win free stuff, enjoy the show!

BASIC FORMAT: (Name of Book) (Author) (International? US Only?) (Contest End Date) That should give everyone what they need to know. Go nuts!
