Probably a typo, or maybe they meant not the starts by the upgrade/ascension level ?
There are levels threshold where you cannot level up the character until you ascend it using special ressources (and a lot of gold)
Thresholds are at level 10, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 (max level 180)
Each ascention also slightly improve the character special ability (usually a few additional % of damage/healing or similar)
I am not sure yet, as I only have one level 150 character and a few level 120 ones, but looking at the abilities description, it seems that only 5 stars characters get their abilities upgraded to level 7, and 4 stars characters up to level 6, so it's possible that only 5 stars can get to level 180, or maybe other characters can too but their abilities don't upgrade, I will have to check.
About summoning, don't pay gems for the "daily summon", only use the free daily one (and the ones you get from green summoning gems), the daily summon is cheaper in gems but only get to 4 stars characters at best.
There is always a rotating banner with 4 and 5 stars characters from a specific faction more likely to drop (you won't get more 4 or 5 stars characters with this banner, but if you do drop one, there will be a larger chance to get the characters from the banner from the pool of 4 /5 stars)
The first time you do 10 summons at once with the same banner you will always get a 4 stars character, so save your gems or summon tokens for a new banner.
After that, you will see a counter telling you that you will get a 5 star character in your next XX summons (i think it stars at 90 and is reset when you finally get one)
From memory the chance for a 5 stars is 2%, so you should get one one average every 50 summons, but if the random gods are not with you for a while you will get one at worst after 90 summons thanks to that "pity" system
Thanks. Saw this late but I did 40 tries with gems and managed to get the Isabrot set completed along with the 5 stars Kharma hero. Swagbucks credited me with the offer so I guess they only wanted 5 stars.
Only 5 star exists and they are summoned like any other hero. They have a really low percentage to get pulled tho, so focus on your 4-star heroes
Thanks. I am playing the game via a Swagbucks offer and they said 6 stars lol
