Female Mentor, young age, old soul.
Hey, everyone! Just heard about this reddit from r/askwomen, and I'm definitely highly interested in dishing out some advice for anyone in need.
A little about me:
-
I'm 21, but don't let that be off-putting.
-
Located in the USA, specifically Tennessee. (Definitely willing to work with people overseas.)
-
Studied Music Composition in college for a semester, took a 2-year break from school, going back for English.
-
I'm LGBT friendly, and am very open about my sexuality and relationships with the people around me.
-
Considered a social bug -- my entire life has revolved around interacting with strangers and striking up friendships with people I've just met -- so I can break down all the little technical aspects of socialization and flirtation if need be (from small-talk, to when and how much eye contact to make).
Emotionally and mentally, I come from a very sound place, and I'm told I give good advice! I'll be up front and say I don't have any professional training, but despite my short twenty-one years, I've had quite a few life experiences that have steeled me to understand and solve a wide array of conflicts and situations.
How can I help you?
I'm a good listener, but I am by nature a fixer. If someone comes to me with a problem, my first response is to suggest several practical, sometimes creative ways to fix it.
I don't believe in hopelessness.
I believe in self-confidence, self-sufficiency, and self-respect. I've lived through the spectrum of emotions. I've been depressed, volatile, and (probably worse yet) apathetic. I've been afraid. But years of reflection and soul-searching have given me the ability to create deep, meaningful connections with the people around me, and to recognize (and sever) the relationships that do nothing but drag me down.
I hope I can help!
