Thought on the Komi-San Live action

I got through the Komi-San dorama, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I wouldnt say it was amazing, but it certainly wasnt bad. The acting reflected the quirkiness of the manga and the visuals were stunning. It was a charming show, even if i was cringing internally every scene. It was endlessly cheesy.

Casting was great. They brought out the right energy from all the characters. The one I thought was the strangest was Katai, but even his actor did a fantastic job with his awkward aggression. Outside of Komi and Tadano, I thought Manbagi's casting was spot on.

Honestly, Im quite pleased that both a live action and anime adaptation of this manga exist and are both quite great in their own right. This fanbase lucked out real hard.

Id suggest giving it a shot, if you can handle reallllllllllly dramatic over the top acting. I can only take an episode at a time, any more and if be cringing out of my mind.
