Maple leaf farms duck breast

Hi guys, I wanted to let you know that the Maple Leaf Farms duck breast is no longer a good deal.

Fresh duck breast is 14.99/lb from Whole foods. This boils down to 93.69 cents per ounce of meet. I have always considered this a bit pricey

Last year, Aldi had Maple Leaf Farms duck breast 16 Oz for 9.99. This was 62.43 cents per ounce and was an amazing deal! I first tried cooking duck because of this deal and I loved it!

This year the packaging has changed and so has the price. Now we can get frozen Maple Leaf Farms duck breast 10 ounces for 8.99. This is 89.9 cents per ounce.

At this price, the frozen breast isn't worth it. I never shop at Whole Foods, but you may as well get the fresh breast. It used to be an amazing deal, but it isn't anymore. Maybe the price will change or they will return to the old price/packaging.
