Match Thread: New Zealand vs South Africa Day 3, 3rd Test at Wellington

Good morning Wellington! After two days of miserable weather it's a blazingly sunny morning here in our nation's capital. In other news the forecast isn't looking quite as rosy for the Black Caps. With so much play lost and only 3 days remaining in the Test, the Proteas will be looking to crack on smartly in the morning and set an intimidating first innings total. Unless the bowlers can break the Duminy/Petersen partnership there seems little NZ can do to stop them. And even should wickets tumble today against the run of play, the kiwi batsmen must then face the inquisition of Steyn & Philander, and yet another middle-order batsman hurriedly promoted to open the Black Caps fragile top order will undergo a baptism of fire.
