Shopping for a laptop

Anyone have suggestions for good laptops under $900? I'm just using it for school, but if it was decent with a/v stuff that'd be a plus, as I am a musician so I would like to use it for recording/mastering, and I am a gamer so I'd like to be able to run a couple decent games.
