Position Size and Limitation
The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham helped explain that having 15 - 30 holdings will minimize risk. I'm proposing a voting system to help implement diversification into future portfolio management.
Buy decisions will be ranked amongst the group with a holding position of 1%-5% of the portfolio the same way analyst opinions are averaged between very good, good, neutral, bad, very bad. 'Very bad' rating of course not being that bad, perhaps just controversial and only getting a $10k investment off a $1m portfolio.
I'd also like for a ceiling to be decided upon. For example, lets say one of the holdings becomes very volatile and tracks a commodity that shoots through the roof. To avoid the crash we begin to slowly take profits when it becomes more than 10% of the portfolio.
