The majority of people I know that are racist against blacks are considered minorities. Is this your personal experience as well?
This Trayvon Martin thing makes me sick to my stomach as an 1st generation American citizen. I have seen and heard on the web that because Mr. Zimmerman is not white/hispanic/latino whatever this was not racially motivated and he is not racist. This statement in itself is racist I personally think. I heard the 911 call and the "coon" statement he says. That is what I heard. I will leave it up to the courts (hopefully) to decide what he said ultimately. My parents are from another country and most of my close friends and family are like me or my parents. This close circle however I have found to be habitually racist in comments towards black people. To say Zimmerman is not racist due to his ethnicity or race goes very much against my personal experience. Maybe it's just an Arizona thing?
