Physics REU applications

I have a question for those who have participated in REU's in the past at various universities. When did you get your acceptances/denial letters or emails when you applied for them? Of the three that I applied to, all had due dates of February 15 and I still haven't heard anything from them besides when I submitted my application (which I received a confirmation email saying that they received the application).
