What have you done your whole life that no one corrected you on?

I'll start. Everyone holds a fork or a spoon (that I've seen) between their index and thumb in a fist, more or less like Bill Clinton giving a thumbs up (if you can picture that). The way I hold it, which I didn't notice until my dad said "Why the hell are you holding your fork like that?" (what else are dad's good for?), which is in the crook of my thumb and index, passing by all my fingers, and pinching it between the ring and pinky finger. Didn't know it was different until it was abrubtly pointed out to me at the age of 22.
