What is contradicting about your interests/values/hobbies etc?

What I've noticed lately is despite the fact that I'm supposedly the conservative in my group of friends(mostly liberal atheists)that I'm the one who isn't homophobic. Also I love fantasy and science fiction (I'm even writing my own series) and I play d&d, video games such as Kingdoms of Amalur or Assassin's Creed. Shouldn't this seem to create a juxtaposition?
