Window flicker 12.04?

Just updated to 12.04 via update manager from 11 on my NetBook, an aspire one D250, 2gb ram. After the upgrade, unity won't stop flickering whenever I move the mouse around anything. It's not a constant screen flick that occurs regardless of what I do, but only when there is actual action going on. Everything is completely up to date in update manager and apt-get upgrades. What's going on?
