Getting weight loss surgery in May. Does anyone have any success stories? Tips? Etc?

I'm a 20 year old female getting WLS in May. I'm 5'8, weigh 210 and wear a size 14. I'm hoping my insurance will approve me. I've gone through all the necessary steps needed to get approval and my physician has basically told me that he's seen people with fewer qualifications get approved. I'm not looking for anyone to tell me how to lose weight, nor am I looking for someone to bitch at me for taking the "easy way out". I've struggled with hypothyroidism for years and have struggled with weight loss since I was a mere child. I've done weight watchers, prescription diet pills, b12 shots, and have exercised like a maniac. I've finally decided that I want to ENJOY my early 20's and finally be happy with myself. I've already seen the surgeon and am in the process of getting prepared for surgery in early May. I'm getting a vertical sleeve gastrectomy. I was wondering if anyone on reddit has ever had a weight loss surgery and if so, how was it? Any advice, or tips?
