Dear Maryland, get your shit together and let me have my rights

I live right on the edge of MD and VA, in WV. I work as a videographer, which frequently has me driving to MD and VA. Even when working in VA, I have to drive through MD, sometimes several times on the way. In my home state, I have my CC, in VA I have reciprocity, when I get to MD, I'm a felon. At best, I have to trunk and untrunk my weapon multiple times, and I don't even do that because, while it's hypothetically legal, in reality, it's a risk.

I almost got mugged today coming back from a shoot. In the parking lot of a Taco Bell, broad daylight. Luckily I got back to my car and locked my doors, but had I not been able to, I might be in a very different situation.
