Does anyone know what happened to Raymond Huffman?

Raymond Huffman is one of the starring "characters" of the "Shut Up Little Man!" tapes(the other being Peter Haskett), which are audio verite gold, if you haven't heard them. The tapes were recorded by two young guys in San Francisco (Haight) in the late 80's. I found out about the tapes years ago from my big sister...she tossed them at me when I turned 14 and said "Have fun, don't tell Dad where you got them" and left it at that. I've listened to all of the audio countless times...it's strangely compelling. I've watched the movie "Shut Your Dirty Little Mouth", and even a documentary about the guys who made the tapes. At any rate, it's safe to say I'm rather obsessed with the whole thing. So my question is...what happened to Ray? I read some rumors that Tony (a person who lived with Ray/Peter on and off may have had something to do with the death of Ray, but of course, all unconfirmed. Peter was alive for several years after the death of Ray, and had no idea (or at least pretended) that Ray passed away. Reddit, I must know...Halp me!
