Something different: Subreddit background images

The Topic Under Discussion

What should we do about background images for this subreddit? Notice I've added a little something at the top of the header, which we could do more with (maybe a composite of the weeks highest upvoted pics?) but I was thinking we should do something in the background that would be more fun.

Nothing as bold as what /r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu does, but I think that we could have fun with a new background image on occasion, or just something really faded in the background besides white.

We can do solid colors as well (I love the site http://hexday.com/ for finding good colors. I need the one that looks like #234ABC if you want to suggest some).

As we approach 15k members, we need to set a friendly tone that is encouraging for all people to have the same voice. We want everyone to have an equal footing to make a positive impression on the subreddit. Notice that we do not guarantee the response you want, just that you will have the same chance as everyone.

Additionally, this is your subreddit, so we need your input on how you would like to see it work. Please give us input. This conversational thread was already prompted by the behavior of other members of the subreddit. You can have your voice heard you know!

Please upvote this post so that it rises to the front page so everyone will see it. As a reminder: self.posts do not accrue karma, so I am not benefiting from your upvoting this. You're upvoting as a courtesy to everyone else.

Thank you from the volunteer subreddit moderator staff for r/GoneWildPlus. We want to get your input on how this subreddit runs. Please feel free to contribute to how we run this subreddit. :D
