Does Walter remind anyone of Light from Death Note?

Breaking Bad has a much more interesting story and better characters but the relationship between Walter and Hank reminds me a lot about Light's relationship with L. Also all the schemes Walter enacts to save himself from getting caught or killed and the lengths he goes reminds me of Light as well.
