Feeling so awful after initiating a breakup. Was I wrong or right?
I just broke up with my boyfriend of 7 months, both of us are 25. I broke up with him because I feel like our relationship is nice, and we have a good time together, but it's not very serious because I don't love him. When I wasn't around him, I'd feel lonely because it seemed like our relationship was so shallow and not fulfilling me like the way I've had in the past, where you feel so attached to that person.
I told him this stuff and he doesn't want to break up, and he was so sad but nice about it, it's killing me, because now all I can think about are the good things about him. And how, even though it wasn't a really fulfilling relationship, I don't have ANYONE there. Like, if I was lonely BEFORE, I'm just completely lost right now.
I haven't been able to sleep, I've been crying, and can't help but wonder if I did the wrong thing.
I thought that since we've been together about 7 months that if I was going to fall in love with him, I already would have. Since I haven't, am I just wasting time with this relationship or could it change?
