I think I'm done with this game for awhile...

When i first started playing league of legends, one of the best things about the game was the community. It wasn't perfect but, as a whole, it was far kinder than the hon or dota player base. People were generally understanding of noobs and trolls were actually funny at times. Times were good but things eventually changed. As the game grew, I noticed that people started to rage more. There were more feeders (trolls not noobs), more instigators, more name calling, more ragers, and more bullies.

Today I played a game that might be my last for awhile. The moment it started, our nocturne committed suicide by towerdiving mid. He then went top and continued to feed the enemy team. The entire time he didn't say one word, he just went 0/7/0 then left. We requested that the enemy team help report him. This was when the shit talking started. Their Orianna was an incredible douche. He started off by saying nobody cares and then went on to start mocking us. I think at one point his other teammates joined in and started harassing us too.

I figured this was just like any of the other games I've played this week until our 1/6/3 (29 cs) blitzcrank starts telling us that we suck. I had won mid lane against Orianna as Caitlyn by about 26cs and 1 lvl so I try to explain to him that I'm doing my best. He promptly tells me that my best sucks. So then we get into it and the whole time the enemy team (fed from noct and blitz) is destroying us and talking more shit to us. All I want to do at this point is surrender but someone on our team keeps hitting no.

By the time I was done with that game I was also about done with lol. I really like the game. I love the mechanics of the game but I just can't deal with the people. I work at a movie theater and I pretty much get paid to work as hard as I can while people throw snide remarks and rude comments at me for 8 hours a day. I don't need to have people doing it to me in a game during what free time I have.

I can handle having the enemy talk shit to me. It is an online game after all. However, I don't want to waste me time playing with teammates that give me the same crap even when I'm doing well and trying to keep us together. I feel so cheated by this game. The amount of time and effort we put into each and every game feels like a tremendous waste when stuff like this happens.

I'm done with moba games for awhile. In most FPS games you can go 0/32 and nobody will bat an eyelash. I'm done with people trolling and raging for no reason.

Btw, I think the number of complaints made against a player should be displayed publicly next to their summoner names at champion selection. I'd rather qeue dodge and spend the next 30 minutes looking for a good game than spend the next 30 minutes dealing with

"MID OR I FEED" "MID OR I LEAVE" "WTF NOOB!!" "TEAM NOOB REPORT" "you suck" "omg you're so horrible" "keep crying about it"

etc, etc, etc...

TL;DR - I had a bad game, I'm taking one down, and I'm qq'ing about it just to turn it around.
