Questions about Ego-T 510 battery..

I am currently using a standard Joye 510 battery and I am not very satisfied with the overall battery life. If I vape for a 15-20 minutes straight on a car ride or something it dies. I am considering getting the ego T 510 starter kit since I understand there battery life is waaay better. I have loads of unused 510 carts that I'd like to use with the Ego-T 510. Would this switch be easy? Also, I'm also unsure of what a cone is and if it is something I would need in the switch..

EDIT: Thanks everyone. I think I have decided on the EGO-T passthrough battery. I think this will be the best fit for my needs.
