I'm using my current HD (~750 gigs) as a slave to the SSD, goal was to build a pretty nice upgrade to what I have currently (not worth mentioning). I'm setting aside around 150 bucks for a new monitor, separate from my 800 dollar budget for the internals. My only real concern is the PSU, and whether it can reliably supply for the rest of the build. It's worth noting that the case is actually 60 dollars on newegg, with free shipping, which is why I chose the case. MOBO was suggested to me, so I'm using it, but if anyone has another suggestion for a mobo at a lower cost to free up cash for monitor/cooler, I'm all ears. Also, taking a risk on the patriot SSD since I practically haven't heard of it before, any experiences?
Build as posted doesn't seem time limited, so with the 680 coming the graphics card may drop in price, but I doubt it. Using Newegg for plain ease, and since I don't believe I have a Microcenter nearby.
